IR slider is a bolt-on accessory of Spectrolight's beam alignment tool, Light Aligner. It can be used to visualize and align infrared beams. As you can see, when the IR slider comes into the path of an IR laser beam it can be visualized as an orange spot. The wavelength range for detection is from 700 to 1600 nm with a minimum intensity of around 3μW/cm². The screw can be tightened to fix the location of the IR slider.
