Products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year. Spectrolight, Inc. ensures its products meet specifications when properly installed, operated, and maintained. Spectrolight's warranty is for one year (parts and labor) unless otherwise stated in product brochures. Shipping for warranted items is prepaid one way by Spectrolight after services are performed.

We offer a variety of goods and services for products sold in the US and worldwide. If your product is outside of the warranty period and requires repair, Spectrolight can provide you with an RMA for service or an estimate of services to calibrate or repair your products. All Non-warranty services require pre-approval by Spectrolight and are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of invoice; shipping to be prepaid by the end-user.

Warranty Periods
All products are warranty for one year from the date of shipment. Light source components are a warranty for the number of hours specified in the spec. sheet for each light source or part thereof, whichever is shorter.

Non-Warranty Repairs
Suppose a product that is not covered by the above warranty needs repairing. In that case, we will first provide an estimate of repair charges and then repair the product upon receiving authorization from you. Repairs are warranted for 90 days.

Warranty Limitations
The above warranty does not apply to products that are repaired, modified, or altered by any party other than Spectrolight are used in conjunction with equipment not provided or authorized by Spectrolight or are subjected to unusual physical, thermal, or electrical stress, improper installation, misuse, abuse, accident or negligence in use, storage, transportation or handling, or tampering, or to products which are considered consumable items or items requiring repair or replacement due to normal wear and tear. 


Return Policy
The customers have 30 days from the original date of invoice to return new, unused, undamaged products for full credit. Applicable restocking fees apply to all product returns. Please note that the following items are not eligible for return; any non-product includes custom-built products. All returns for credit require a pre-authorization by Spectrolight to be eligible for credit. Shipping is to be prepaid by the end-user.


Return Material Authorization (RMA)
All product returns for service, credit, calibration, or otherwise require a return material authorization number before returning. 
Please send an email to info@spectrolightinc.com  to request an RMA number. 


After acceptance by Spectrolight, the order is not subject to cancellation, change, reduction in amounts, or suspension or delay of shipment, except with Spectrolight's written consent. Canceled orders consented to by the Spectrolight are subject to cancellation charges based upon all expenses incurred by the Spectrolight up to the time of cancellation. This includes an excess inventory of stock items that have been specifically allocated to the Buyer and exceed normal Spectrolight inventory levels for a period. We may cancel the order in the following cases: the Our costs have exceeded our price to the Buyer, or Spectrolight is unable to provide the product due to factors beyond our control.

If Buyer delays shipments, payment shall become due on the date Spectrolight is prepared to make shipment unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Spectrolight at the time of the incident. Products held for the Buyer shall be at the risk and expense of the Buyer.
